Isn’t it interesting how hearing a particular song can bring back a special memory or make you feel happy or calm or pumped up? Music can make us feel strong emotions, such as joy or sadness—some will agree that it has the power to move us. According to some researchers, music may even have the power to improve our health and well-being such as; Improve Mood, Reduce Stress, Lessen Anxiety, Improve Exercise & Memory, Ease Pain and Improve Congnition*. The best benefit: it gets you moving, so play your favorite tunes and dance like no one is watching!

DID YOU KNOW:
One of the most famous music festivals was Woodstock in 1969. Banded from the original site because of toilets it was saved by farmer who owned a 600 acre dairy farm, so among the 400,000 spectators, there were also many cows in attendence. Because of the traffic leading to the event some musical acts needed to be helicoptered in. Extensive clean-up was needed and surveying the concert site in a helicopter, a peace symbol appeared, made up of the litter left behind.**
